Masonic Lodge, Los Angeles ,March 26

We arrived late from SF as our plane was cancelled...rushed to show, sound checked and started....The Masonic Lodge was built in 1926 and is on the Hollywood Forever Cemetery, where many silent film stars are buried. It was such a eerie, beautiful hall made of all wood. The guests had to park in the cemetery and walk across to reach the lodge, as warm santa ana winds swept through the palms. It was the last magical night of our tour...but I didnt get many pictures unfortunately...i think someone else took some..I'll try to post those later.

Swedish American Hall, San Francisco March 25

We arrived the morning of the show...and headed down to rehearse with the wonderful Magik*Magik quartet. The Swedish American Hall was a beautiful old building built in 1911 that hosted a speak easy in the basement back in the day..the acoustics were beautiful. It was a great night..

SXSW, Austin Days

So after our wonderful show at the Central Presbyterian Church we had the luxury of having a few days off to wander through the streets of Austin and experience the madness that is SXSW. There really is nothing like it..

heartburn for 2 days, but it was worth it.
I have to explain these shots. We were standing next to an IHOP restaurant at about 1am and this sharply dressed fellow started climbing up on the roof. I took the most amazing picture...and it seems like he was some kind of white trash Yeti that jumps from IHOP rooftop to rooftop. I may be the first to photograph this mythical creature.

more heartburn.
Dustin, Hauschka and Gonzales. piano mafia?
The Small Stakes. this fellow makes the most amazing posters.. go check him out.
